In an effort to use class time for student-centered experiences that promote higher cognitive learning, such as application, analysis, synthesis, and evaluation, this project will produce a series of lecture videos for students. These videos will introduce students to essential concepts, terminology, and basic examples prior to class. During class, students will dive deeper into the concept with more complex, real-world examples and extend what they have learned across multiple contexts. This work will feature multiple biology professors within Lyman Briggs College, but will also integrate footage of other scientists working in a laboratory and field settings.
