As a Learning Experience (LX) Designer, Sarah works at the nexus of user experience (UX), learning sciences, and curriculum design to help create or re-vamp educational experiences that align with 21st century realities. Whether conducting research for a project or connecting with partners around innovative ideas, Sarah thrives where complex challenges and meaningful relationships intersect.
Prior to joining the Hub, Sarah led research projects on digital competencies, ranging from media literacy to computational thinking, and taught courses on education research methods and ed tech integration.
Sarah earned an Ed.M. in Education from Harvard University, a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology & Educational Technology from Michigan State University and a Ph.D. in Cognitive Literary Studies from Purdue University. When not at the office, Sarah can be found practicing combat sports with her family and cooking French food for them.
